Go Tell It On The Mountain, Over The Hills And Everywhere: Go Tell It On The Mountain How God's Children Were Enslaved! June is the month for a discussion on Slavery in the United States   ASALH (The Association for the Study of African American Life and History) was founded on September 19, 1915, by Dr. Carter G. Woodson, The Father of Black History, because African Americans were being told that we did not have any history. Recently, this country has made it illegal to teach anything that will provide a negative view of White America for their role in the Institution of Slavery, and the perception of "White Privilege in this country.  This country still considers Blacks inferior and consistently is working to keep our history out the public schools. Doing away with Affirmative Action, Diversity and Inclusions initiatives and any other things that they can think of.
